BRR-SCCA Toys for Tots Road Rally Trek

Welcome to the 2nd Annual BRR-SCCA Toys for Tots Road Rally Trek

🛣️ General Information

• This event will be run under SCCA Trek rules.
• This is a non-competitive social driving event — not a race or timed rally.
• The route includes scenic backroads and portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway, ending at Treehouse Tavern, where food will be available.
• Each car must have both a driver and a co-driver. The co-driver is responsible for navigation and communication.

📝 Registration

• Registration is per car and driver.
• The driver and vehicle are the registered entry.
• A co-driver is required, but does not need to register separately.
• Entry fee: $10 per car + one new, unwrapped toy valued at $20+ dollars
• Toys will be collected at check-in and donated to the Roanoke Toys for Tots Chapter.

🚗 Safety & Rules

1. This is not a race. Obey all posted traffic laws and speed limits.
2. Driver/Vehicle Requirements:
   • Driver must hold a valid driver’s license.
   • Vehicle must be street-legal, insured, and in safe working condition.
   • All occupants must wear seatbelts.
   • Each car must have a driver and a co-driver. Extra Passengers are welcome!
3. Conduct: Unsafe or reckless driving, or illegal activity, will result in immediate disqualification.

📍 Route Overview

• Start: Pinkerton Chevrolet, Salem, VA
• Route: Scenic backroads to the Blue Ridge Parkway, traveling southbound
• Finish: Treehouse Tavern, Ferrum, VA
  • Food and drinks available
  • Social gathering to follow

🕘 Schedule

• 9:00 AM: Check-in opens at Pinkerton Chevrolet
• 11:00 AM: Mandatory drivers’ meeting
• 11:30 AM: First car out
• 1:30–2:00 PM: Finish at Treehouse Tavern – food & social time
